Narcotic Detection Dogs:
The narcotic dogs are trained to locate illegal drugs or instruments for drug use. The narcotic dog is either trained with an aggressive or passive indication. The basic detection dog is trained only on Marijuana; the fully trained detection dog is also trained to indicate on Cocaine, Heroin and amphetamines.
Breeds used for Narcotic detection training:
We will select either pure bred or cross breed dogs that have the ability to be trained as Narcotic Detection dogs. Breeds we evaluate for selection include;

Narcotic dog handler training program:
The Handler training course ranges from two {2} days to Seven {7} days at MNK9 covering many aspects required in the operations of a Narcotic Detection dog. The handler and dog will be on location conducting searches for narcotics in houses, factories etc.
Accommodation
Meals and road transportation is also included in the handler training program. Each Narcotic dog handler will also receive leads, collars, long lines, toys and odour packages for their Narcotic dog.
All Narcotic detection dogs supplied with health certificates and
micro chipped.
